Capitol Corridor + Lyft
The Capitol Corridor + Lyft Program provides participants a 10-ride Amtrak pass plus 10 free Solano County train station Lyft connections, all for $20.
Participants must be residents of or employed in Solano County, and new to Amtrak for commuting. Participants can use this program up to 3 times. 10-ride Amtrak tickets expire 90 days from the start date printed on the ticket.
Free Lyft rides are applicable only in Solano County, to or from the Suisun-Fairfield Amtrak station or the Fairfield-Vacaville Amtrak station, up to $25 per ride. Free Lyft rides (up to $25) are only available for the duration of the 10-ride passes. The program shall not be used for pickup or drop off outside of Solano County. Staff reserves the right to remove participants for misuse of the program.

Guaranteed Ride Home Program
If you use a commute alternative like transit, carpool, or vanpool to travel to work in Solano County or travel from Solano County to your workplace, you can get reimbursement for your emergency ride home.
This program provides an alternative option home in the case of an emergency. All those signed up on Commute Solano are eligible. Commuters have the option of utilizing a Lyft or Uber, or Taxi, in the case of an emergency. This program can be used 6 times in a year no more than 3 times in a month, for up to $100 per trip. Staff reserves the right to remove participants for misuse of the program. Program is subject to termination at the discretion of Solano Mobility for any and all reasons.
Participants must have used an alternative transportation mode to get to work on the day they use Guaranteed Ride Home. Qualified emergencies include;
- Employee (or immediate family member) suffers an illness or severe crisis that requires their immediate attention.
- After the start of a shift, their employer requests that they work unscheduled overtime.
- The ridesharing vehicle breaks down or the driver has to unexpectedly stay late or leave early.
- The train, ferry, or bus does not show up for it’s scheduled time.
Guaranteed Ride Home may not be used for: personal errands, pre-planned medical appointments, weather emergencies, early dismissals from work, an ambulance service, business-related travel, anticipated overtime or working overtime without a supervisor’s request, or non-emergency related trips on the way home.

First / Last Mile Program
The purpose of the First/Last Mile Program is to help commuters who use alternate modes of transportation like transit, carpool, vanpool or active transportation to travel to work and have problems connecting with Solano County transit hubs for the first/last leg of their trip.
Solano Mobility and Lyft have partnered to provide 60% off Lyft rides (up to $20) (80% off Lyft rides low income subsidy; for more information see below) to all Solano County Transportation Centers, the two Solano County train stations, and all Solano County SolanoExpress bus stops (12 transit locations total). All participants are eligible for 45 rides in one calendar month. Participants must live or work in Solano County and be over the age of 18. The program shall not be used for pickup or drop off outside of Solano County. Staff reserves the right to remove participants for misuse of the program.
The First/Last Mile Program is subject to termination upon depletion of program funding or by decision of Solano Mobility. Solano Mobility shall be under no obligation to honor requests received after the depletion of program funding or termination of the program.

LOW-INCOME SUBSIDY
Riders who are on a Solano County program such as CalFresh or Medi-Cal, on SSI, or on the discounted PGE CARE/FERA programs qualify for the low-income subsidy of 80% off the cost of the ride up to $20. Please fill out the form here to apply.

Commute Challenge!
Earn rewards for your smart commute! Log your teleworking days for 10 points, ridesharing (Carpool/ Vanpool) and transit (rail/ferry/bus) trips for 20 points, and active transportation trips for 30 points. After 100 points you’ll receive a $10 gift card of your choice; after 500 points you’ll earn a $25 gift card of your choice; after 1,200 points you’ll win a $50 gift card of your choice!
Eligible trips include one (1) trip to your workplace per day and one (1) trip from your workplace per day, for a total of two (2) trips per day. Each commuter is eligible to receive one of each gift card amount.

2.) Create a log-in when prompted by filling in your name, email, and creating a password. Then input your home and work zip codes.
3.) Click the download box on the top right corner of your dashboard for your pin number.

Vanpool Incentives
A vanpool is a group of 7 to 15 people – who live at least 10 miles from where they work – sharing their commute in a van. Here is how it works:
- Vanpool riders pay a low monthly fare based on daily travel distance and number of riders
- Vanpool fares cover the cost of operating the vanpool
- Commuter vans may be leased or personal vans may be used for commuting.
New, qualifying vanpools can receive $200-$700 in subsidies, and receive preferential parking in some areas.

Bucks for Bikes
Do you ride your bike to work? Are you considering it? Solano Mobility offers an incentive that will reimburse 60% of the cost of a new bicycle for commuting up to $300. To qualify, applicants must live, work, or attend college in Solano County, and meet additional requirements.
Any Solano resident or employee age 18 or older who agrees to the program’s rules and guidelines is eligible. Qualified applicants will be selected based on application review. There is no deadline, but programs funds are limited. For more information on the program click here.
